Alex Márquez: ‘I don’t believe that the crashes are due to particular aspects’

Alex Márquez

Alex Márquez had a difficult year in MotoGP in 2021. Throughout the year, he had multiple collisions, some of which ended with his being dropped from racing, which was costly to the LCR Honda rider’s results.

The spaniard told Motosprint that there were collisions caused by personal faults and others caused by various situations, but he doesn’t feel there are any common threads between them all and refuses to focus on the past.

– Some crashes happened because of my mistakes, others because I touched other riders like Aragon or Jerez. I don’t think it’s down to particular aspects and I don’t have to think about what could have happened.
