Several motorsport squads will come together in both the virtual and real worlds as part of a new project from Max Verstappen and Red Bull.
In collaboration with Red Bull, Max Verstappen has formed his new racing team, which will incorporate all of the Dutchman’s various endeavours.
Verstappen.com Verstappen is known to partake in a number of online racing events, thus the motorsport will bring together groups from both the virtual and real worlds.
The new venture in digital competitions will be represented by Team Redline, the eSports team for which Verstappen is well-known.
In reality, Jos Verstappen will compete in the Belgian Rally Series for Verstappen.com Racing, and the squad will also back Thierry Vermeulen in his debut in the ADAC GT Masters championship.
Both digital and real-world rivals’ liveries will have a Verstappen.com Racing x Red Bull logo.
Verstappen is eager to share his “racing experience” with others
Verstappen has expressed his enthusiasm for the new project and expressed his desire to share his knowledge with other drivers.
“Racing has always been my biggest passion in life, from the moment I first stepped into a go-kart until today. Besides my own Formula 1 career, racing is what I dedicate most of my time to,” the 2021 World Champion said on his website, Verstappen.com.
“I am truly happy that, with the Verstappen.com Racing team, I can share the love for racing with drivers and teams I feel closely connected to.
“Apart from the fun it brings me, I can also share my racing knowledge with them, which hopefully helps everybody to improve themselves.”
Verstappen, who just inked a contract with Red Bull to stay with the team through the conclusion of the 2028 Formula One season, is also pleased to have them on board.
“After agreeing upon a long-term deal with Red Bull Racing earlier this year, I am very happy to be part of the Red Bull family for many years to come,” he explained.
“The close partnership with Red Bull as a company is also reflected in the fact that they are supporting the Verstappen.com Racing team for the coming years, which makes me very proud. I can’t wait to get started and keep pushing flat out.”
