A brand-new FIA documentary explains how each of the 20 F1 racers entered the sport and progressed to its peak.
All 20 of the recent F1 racers are profiled in a documentary by the FIA on their early years.
The 17-minute movie, titled When We Were Young, features the recent generation of F1 drivers talking about their earliest experiences in racing, including their karting victories and encounters with their childhood idols.
The FIA claims that the documentary is a component of a campaign to inspire the next generation to pursue careers as F1 drivers and so increase participation in racing.
