While McLaren had a lot of fun off-track to start off F1’s first journey to Miami, the week did not go as planned for the squad.
In a new behind-the-scenes video, McLaren explains how their Miami Grand Prix weekend went from good to poor.
Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo are followed in the movie as they participate in some interesting events leading up to the first event, involving shooting for The Late Late Show and attending the pre-race grand opening.
On the other hand, the squad’s on-track performance was less than stellar.
After a crash with Pierre Gasly, Norris withdrew from the race, while Ricciardo ended in P13.
The drivers’ responses to their difficult weekend, during which they earned no points, are captured in this video.
