Jujutsu Kaisen gives Yuji Itadori a surprising power-up

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen have been eagerly anticipating a power-up for Yuji Itadori since the early days of the series. Initially, it was believed that Yuji would eventually learn Sukuna’s Cursed Technique due to having the King of Curses inside his body, as suggested by Satoru Gojo during one of their first training sessions. Recent events in the series, including Yuji consuming his and Choso’s siblings, the Death Painting Wombs, have hinted at a possible power-up for Yuji.

Although it remains unclear how exactly this will affect Yuji, it is expected that he will undergo a significant change moving forward. Choso, Kechizu, and Eso, who were among the Death Painting Wombs, used blood-related Jujutsu. Choso had the ability to use the inherited technique of the Kamo family, and it is likely that their other siblings possessed similar abilities. Therefore, it is possible that Yuji may awaken his own Cursed Technique at last.

Moreover, since the Death Painting Wombs are cursed objects that reincarnate when consumed by a vessel, it is possible that Yuji will be able to interact with his siblings in the same way he was able to interact with Sukuna. However, it remains a mystery what Cursed Techniques or other abilities these six Death Painting Wombs possess. It is uncertain whether Yuji’s power-up will be enough to stop Sukuna or Kenjaku, as both villains have proven to be powerful and intelligent beyond compare. Fortunately, Yuji and all his allies have reunited, so it will be a team effort.

In addition, it has been revealed that Hana Kurusu and Angel are alive, which means that Gojo should be getting released from the Prison Realm in the next few chapters, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Overall, the situation is looking hopeful for the first time in a long while.
