Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC release date announced for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero

The release of the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero has stirred up excitement among Pokemon fans worldwide. This new downloadable content offers players two new story chapters, The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, both of which promise unique experiences and exciting gameplay.

The Teal Mask takes place in the region of Kitakami, a bustling village with a rich culture reminiscent of Japan. Here, players embark on a school trip and uncover the mysteries behind folktales, all while catching new Pokemon along the way. On the other hand, The Indigo Disk has players attending the Blueberry Academy, a sister school of the Naranja/Uva Academy. This new school, located under the ocean, is focused on Pokemon battling and promises to provide players with an entirely new set of challenges.

Fans eagerly anticipate the release of both parts of the DLC, with The Teal Mask scheduled to launch in fall 2023 and The Indigo Disk in winter 2023. While the exact release date has not yet been announced, Nintendo’s UK eShop page promises that all content will be available by April 30th, 2024.

It’s worth noting that players do not necessarily need to beat the base game to access The Teal Mask; all that’s required is for players to begin their treasure hunt in either Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, which takes roughly three hours of gameplay. However, to access The Indigo Disk, players must first have beaten the main story of the base game and The Teal Mask.

All in all, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is shaping up to be a fantastic addition to the Pokemon franchise, offering players new adventures, areas to explore, and legendary Pokemon to catch. Fans are eagerly counting down the days until its release, and we can’t wait to see what surprises await us in the Galar region.
