Tokyo Revengers, the popular anime series, has wrapped up its second season, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next installment. And the wait won’t be too long as Tokyo Revengers Season 3 has been officially announced, titled “Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc,” and a teaser video and poster have been released to commemorate the thrilling announcement. The upcoming season will feature the Yokohama-based gang leader Izana Kurokawa, voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Kanji Mochizuki, voiced by Toru Inada. Nobunaga Shimazaki is known for his roles as Yuno in Black Clover, Izumi in Parasyte, Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen, and Nagi in Blue Lock, so fans can expect some top-notch voice acting.
While Tokyo Revengers Season 2 didn’t receive the same level of success as the first season, partly due to Draken’s voice actor change and a controversial manga ending, the franchise aims to bounce back with the upcoming season. The Tenjiku Arc is the fifth arc of the series and covers chapters 122-188 of the manga, which was published from 2017 to 2022. The story follows Takemichi Inagaki, a young man who travels back in time twelve years to save his middle school sweetheart, Hinata Tachibana, who was killed by the notorious Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi embarks on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the gang and rewrite history to save Hinata and alter the course of their lives forever.
