Jujutsu Kaisen reveals what needs to happen for the Culling Game to come to an end

In the latest chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series, the intense Culling Game arc reaches its climax as the characters come face to face with the unfortunate reality of what needs to happen in order to bring the deadly tournament to an end. The Culling Game was initiated by Kenjaku, who used the chaos of the Shibuya Incident to spark a battle royale featuring a multitude of Cursed Spirits and Jujutsu Sorcerers who were revived in the current era. Since the game began, Yuji Itadori and the other characters have engaged in all sorts of deadly fights, but the end is finally near, though it is not an ending they would want to see.

The story has been building up towards the final phase of Kenjaku’s real plan for the Culling Game, and ever since Sukuna successfully took over Megumi Fushiguro’s body, Kenjaku’s plan has been moving at full speed. Kenjaku needs to funnel the last of the cursed energy into launching his massive new monster. However, he has made things harder for Yuji and his friends to escape, as a new rule has been added to only end the Culling Game when all players other than “Suguru Geto” and “Megumi Fushiguro” are killed.

In the latest chapter, Kenjaku takes Tengen captive and moves on with the next phase of his plan by adding a new rule to the Culling Game that would prevent any new players from joining. While this rule conflicts with the existing rules, it is something that Kenjaku orders to make the Koganes short out. He decides that either he will change the rule or destroy all of the barriers to end the game that way. This allows him to cement this in place first.

Kenjaku then makes it so that the only way the Culling Game can end is if all players other than Geto and Megumi are dead. This means that only Kenjaku and Sukuna will be the survivors. This will allow Kenjaku to enact the full Tengen merger when everything is done, but there is also a way for Yuji and his friends to escape. However, it is easier said than done. They must end the Culling Game by killing Kenjaku and Sukuna while also somehow saving Megumi in the process. This creates a sense of urgency and tension, as the characters are faced with difficult choices and dangerous obstacles to overcome in order to achieve their goals.
