In the previous episode, we witnessed the most thrilling fight of the season so far. Tanjiro’s awakening and his Bright Red Nichirin Sword, fueled by Nezuko’s blood, allowed him to simultaneously decapitate three of Hantengu’s demons. Genya also managed to behead the fourth demon.
However, Genya’s transformation left everyone stunned, and now we are about to discover the complete truth. Additionally, the abilities of Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji are yet to be fully explored, but the new episode will delve deeper into her skills, making the anticipation for the upcoming episode even more unbearable.

Recap of Previous Events on Demon Slayer:
In the previous episode, Muichiro and Kotetsu encountered a fish demon trying to reach Kozo by climbing a tree. Muichiro successfully killed the demon and saved the swordsmith. Kozo confirmed that his sword was ready and informed them about the danger still looming over Hotaru. He led them to a hut where he could acquire a new blade, but unexpectedly, Gyokko appeared, leading to the first face-to-face encounter between Gyutaro and Muichiro.
As Gyokko’s fish demons with Blood Demon Art attacked the Swordsmith Village, chaos and death ensued among the villagers. However, the Love Hashira arrived just in time to save the swordsmiths and the village chief, who was on the verge of being crushed by a demon. This marked Mitsuri’s first action, showcasing her whip sword and Love Breathing Technique to defeat the demons and save lives.
The scene then shifted to Nezuko and Tanjiro, where they were attacked by Hantengu’s demons. Karaku unleashed a powerful gust of wind, destroying the building and sending the siblings flying. Nezuko, gripping Tanjiro’s sword tightly, cut her fingers and coated the blade with her blood. Gyokko manipulated his art using the mangled bodies of the villagers. Muichiro attempted to attack Gyokko, realizing that decapitation could be his weakness.
Gyokko summoned two demon fishes that unleashed the Thousand Needle Fish Kill attack, forcing Muichiro to block the needles and endure the damage. He then trapped the Mist Hashira in water, attempting to defeat him by suffocation. Meanwhile, Tanjiro witnessed Nezuko using Exploding Blood on his blade, causing it to change color to a bright red while also triggering the ancestral memories.
Empowered by his new bright red blade, Tanjiro swiftly decapitated Urogi, Karaku, and Sekido in a single sweeping attack. He then set out to find Genya, who had already beheaded Aizetsu but was shocked to witness Genya’s demonic form with popping veins, black and yellow eyes, and hair with yellow tips.
