Now, after nearly three months, it’s time to say goodbye to the series as the season finale of Tokyo Revengers approaches. Given the series’ popularity and the love it has garnered over the years, it’s only a matter of time before the new season is announced.

Previously on Tokyo Revengers, Takemichi found himself transported to the present and attended Mitsuya’s funeral. He received news on his cell phone that Hinata had died in a car accident. While grieving their deaths, Takemichi discovered the key to his apartment and found a photo taken with his gang before returning to the present. Naoto then entered the apartment and revealed that in this timeline, all the members of Toman had been killed.

Naoto informed Takemichi about the deaths of each member, including the shocking revelation that Mikey was responsible for their murders. Takemichi couldn’t believe that Mikey would do such a thing. Naoto explained that Takemichi was the only surviving Toman member and needed to uncover the truth. Naoto asked if Takemichi could recall any past reasons that might have led Mikey to commit such acts. Takemichi mentioned that the two potential threats to Toman’s future, Black Dragon and Kisaki’s exclusion, had been dealt with. They then noticed a letter on the table, which Takemichi deduced was from Mikey.

Naoto and Takemichi traveled to the location mentioned in the letter, in the Philippines. They split up in search of Mikey, and Takemichi wondered if Mikey had changed from the person he once knew. Eventually, Takemichi found Mikey, who requested a favor from him. It was revealed that Takemichi had left Toman, and through a flashback, it became apparent that Toman had turned into a violent gang. Draken and Mitsuya had asked Mikey to keep Takemichi out of it. Mikey explained that he killed them all because of Toman’s dark future, and he asked Takemichi to kill him too.

The reason behind Toman’s descent into darkness was then revealed. Mikey shared that he didn’t feel remorse the first time he killed someone and wondered if all their problems could be solved through killing. Brief flashbacks showed Mikey killing Hakkai and Chifuyu. In the present, Mikey aimed his gun at Takemichi and gave him the choice to kill him or face death himself.

Just as Mikey was about to kill Takemichi, Naoto shot Mikey. Naoto noticed that the gun’s safety was on, indicating that Mikey had no intention of killing Takemichi. As Mikey’s life slipped away, Takemichi revealed his ability to travel to the past and vowed to change Toman’s future once again.
