Twilight Reboot: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Creator Needed?

“Twilight is poised to make a comeback, whether you’re a fan or not. Lionsgate is reportedly planning a TV series reboot of the renowned vampire franchise. Interestingly, the renowned manga artist Hirohiko Araki, known for creating JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, has a strong affinity for Twilight. Araki has openly expressed his fascination with the series, and his unique artistic vision could bring a captivating twist to the Twilight reboot.

Araki’s love for Twilight has been well-documented. In a 2011 author’s note, he confessed his addiction to the vampire tale and his desire to drink blood. There are certain elements in Twilight that resonate with Araki’s own work. Both feature visually striking characters with impressive physiques, and even share a penchant for sparkling in sunlight. The dramatic fashion and intense emotions of the Cullen Family align with the style of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. If the vampires in Twilight possessed Stands, they would fit right in with Giorno, and their vampire origins connect with the early themes of Araki’s creation.

While Araki is currently occupied with his own projects, his artistic style and storytelling have garnered a massive global following. Given his expertise, it would be fantastic to have him involved in some capacity in the Twilight reboot. Even a subtle reference to the Joestar family would be a delightful nod to his fans.

As of now, there is limited information about the Twilight reboot. The Hollywood Reporter has shared a few details about its early development stage. The live-action series is still in its initial phases, with no confirmed writer or network. Lionsgate, as the rights holder of the Twilight saga, is actively pitching the concept. Stephenie Meyer, the author of the series, is expected to be involved in some capacity. With any luck, Araki’s passion for Twilight will lead to his participation in the show. Let’s hope for the best and anticipate the involvement of this ingenious mind from the JoJo universe.”
