The latest spoilers for the popular manga series Jujutsu Kaisen reveal that Satoru Gojo, the most powerful sorcerer in the series, will finally make his return after being sealed away during the Shibuya Incident Arc in Chapter 91, which was released in January 2020. Fans have been eagerly awaiting his comeback, and it seems that their prayers have been answered after over three years.
The previous chapter of the manga focused on the Culling Game and also gave readers a glimpse of Gojo’s Prison Realm. Shoko recalls something that Gojo said before he was sealed away and hopes that he will return soon, echoing the sentiments of fans who have been waiting for his return since the Shibuya Incident.
The upcoming Chapter 221, which is titled “Gain and Loss,” will feature Yuji and his allies trying to unseal Gojo. However, they will face a dilemma as they try to bring back the powerful sorcerer. The prison realm where Gojo was sealed does not follow the space and time rules of the physical world, so it is unclear how much time has passed for him. If he has been waiting for hundreds of years, his mental state might not be stable, which could pose a risk when he is unsealed.
Despite these concerns, Gojo finally makes his comeback through Jacob’s ladder, but he does not appear in front of Yuji. Instead, he comes face-to-face with Kenjaku, and before he can fight him, Sukuna (now in Megumi’s body) interrupts. Gojo is still the same old powerful sorcerer fans remember, ridiculing Sukuna and making a snarky comment on Kenjaku’s stitched body.
