Spike Chunsoft, a Japanese video game developer and publisher, recently announced the release of a new line of Danganronpa merchandise that is sure to excite fans of the popular game franchise. The collection includes a variety of items such as canvas art, portrait badges, acrylic stands, and a key visual print from Danganronpa 1 & 2 Reload.
The canvas art features each of the unique Danganronpa characters, while the portrait badges are random and feature a different character from the franchise. Fans can also purchase acrylic stands of their favorite Danganronpa characters dressed in formal attire, adding an elegant and stylish touch to their collections.
The key visual print from Danganronpa 1 & 2 Reload is a special creation by Primo Art, which uses state-of-the-art technology to faithfully recreate the original artwork. While the Primo Art print costs a hefty 36,300 JPY ($274 USD), each canvas art item costs 4,400 JPY ($33 USD), and the acrylic stands for each character cost 5,940 JPY (~$45 USD).
Fans can also purchase acrylic badges, which come in secret boxes and include a random character. The Danganronpa 2 and Danganronpa V3 acrylic badges are set to release in July 2023, while the Danganronpa 1 badges are a reprint of an item originally released in October 2018 and will be re-releasing in April 2023.
