Fans of Gintama and Kuroko’s Basketball have reason to celebrate, as the two series have teamed up for a collaborative event at Namjatown, an amusement area located in Ikebukuro’s Sunshine Town shopping complex. This exciting partnership offers fans a unique opportunity to see their favorite characters from both series interact in unexpected ways.
The main visual for the event shows the characters from Gintama and Kuroko’s Basketball wearing each other’s uniforms, with Kuroko sporting Gintoki’s iconic yukata and Kagura donning Riko’s basketball uniform. Fans can also expect to see Hijikata in his signature outfit, complete with his trusty mayonnaise and cigarettes.
In addition to the main visual, Namjatown is offering a variety of merchandise featuring the crossover designs. Fans can also take photos at a special photo spot that transports them into the world of the Gintama and Kuroko’s Basketball crossover.
But that’s not all – visitors to Namja Gyoza Stadium and Fukubukuro Dessert can also enjoy a special collaboration menu featuring dishes inspired by both series. Some of the standout items on the menu include the Elizabeth basketball drink, basketball ramen, and the Okita bazooka chicken wrap.
This exciting collaboration began on February 17 and will run until April 2, giving fans ample time to experience the unique crossover event. With so much to see and do, it’s sure to be a memorable experience for fans of both Gintama and Kuroko’s Basketball.
