Goku and Broly have a rematch in Dragon Ball Super’s new chapter

Dragon Ball Super’s anime series might be on hiatus, but the manga adaptation is still going strong with new chapters being released regularly. Fans of the shonen franchise can take a trip down memory lane as the manga has recently revisited the latest film in the series, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. While some of the events and battles in the manga might seem familiar to those who watched the movie, the manga is adding new material to keep things fresh and exciting. In particular, the latest installment of the manga, Chapter 92, is focusing on the rematch between Goku and Broly.

The manga’s latest installment picks up with a different battle from the movie, between Piccolo and Gamma 2. The android, a creation of the Red Ribbon Army, engages in a confusing conversation with Piccolo, who was once Kami, before the battle plays out in a similar manner to the movie. However, the manga adds new elements to the fight to make it more interesting.

But it’s the rematch between Goku and Broly that has fans excited. While the canon version of Broly shares some similarities with the Legendary Super Saiyan that appeared in Dragon Ball Z, this version of the character is also significantly different. He’s more powerful, but also more understanding and less evil. During their sparring match on Beerus and Whis’ planet, Goku helps Broly not just with his fighting skills, but also with his ability to control his rage.

Goku gives Broly a pep talk tailored to his unique situation, encouraging him to stay calm and avoid succumbing to his anger. “Nice one. You’re getting the hang of this fighting stuff! You’ll get used to it bit by bit. Pretty soon, you’ll be fighting with a level head without snapping into a rage. This time we’re gonna kick things up a notch, okay?” The question now is whether the manga will introduce new aspects to their fight or if it will follow the movie’s plot closely.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Dragon Ball or a newcomer to the series, the manga adaptation of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero offers plenty of excitement and entertainment. What new twists and turns will the story take in the upcoming chapters? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: fans of the series won’t want to miss a single installment.
