Guenther Steiner work in the FOX Broadcast booth during the COTA NASCAR Cup race

Upcoming weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series event at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) will feature Haas F1 Team Principal Guenther Steiner in the FOX Sports Broadcast booth.

A Formula 1 driver will be represented at the Cup race at COTA the following weekend, both on the racetrack and in the Broadcast booth.

Jenson Button, the 2009 F1 World Champion, will make his NASCAR start in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang. In addition, Kimi Raikkonen, the 2007 F1 World Champion, will compete in his second Cup race, racing the No. 91 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet Camaro.

Steiner will replace veteran Cup champion Kurt Busch in the TV booth for that race, FOX revealed on Sunday during the Atlanta telecast.

The FOX booth has featured a changing cast of individuals throughout the year in addition to play-by-play announcer Mike Joy and former racer Clint Bowyer. Tony Stewart and Danica Patrick are among them.

Since the squad’s introduction in 2016, Steiner has served as the Haas F1 Team Principal.
