Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo vs. Geto Showdown Teased

The latest chapters of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga have brought the Culling Game arc to its climax, setting the stage for the final showdown between Satoru Gojo and the imposter Suguru Geto. The arc took a dramatic turn when Megumi Fushiguro seemingly lost hope of saving his sister Tsumiki from the deadly tournament, allowing Sukuna to take control of Megumi’s body. The situation only worsened from there until recently when the opportunity to save Gojo emerged after years of his imprisonment in the Prison Realm.

Gojo had been sealed away in the Prison Realm since the beginning of the Shibuya Incident, but the latest chapters have finally presented a real chance to rescue him. Jujutsu Kaisen has freed Gojo from his captivity after nearly 1,200 days, and with his return, he is determined to fulfill his promise of defeating Kenjaku and Sukuna once and for all.

Chapter 221 of Jujutsu Kaisen picks up right after Yuji and Yuta devise a plan to proceed with the final phase of the Culling Game. Kenjaku has made it clear that the only way the game will end is if all the other fighters, except for him and Sukuna, perish. As Yuji’s team runs out of options, one crucial step is saving Gojo, which becomes possible thanks to Hana Kurusu and Angel’s power, breaking the seal of the Prison Realm.

With Gojo finally liberated, he immediately reenters the fray, challenging Kenjaku head-on. He also confronts Sukuna, preparing for their ultimate clash. However, recognizing the magnitude of the battle before him, Gojo requests to postpone their final fight until December 24th, giving himself time to adequately prepare for the impending confrontation. Thus, the conclusion of their long-standing feud is just around the corner, as the date draws nearer.
