Jujutsu Kaisen fans are eagerly awaiting the release of chapter 221, which is rumored to mark the return of fan-favorite character Satoru Gojo. However, while some alleged spoilers and raw scans have been circulating online, it’s important to wait for the official release before celebrating Gojo’s comeback.
Despite the uncertainty, many fans are already speculating about the epic fights Gojo is sure to engage in as the series’ final stages unfold. Among the most hotly anticipated matchups is Gojo’s eventual showdown with Sukuna, the King of Curses. But with Sukuna now inhabiting Megumi’s body, many are wondering if the curse has an advantage over Gojo.
Gojo’s previous statements in the manga seem to spell doom for his fight against a Sukuna-possessed Megumi. For example, he once told Megumi that the previous adult Six/Eyes Limitless user was killed by someone who used the Ten Shadows Technique, which Megumi possesses. He also implied that Megumi has more potential than Yuji, who he had previously said could surpass him.
While this doesn’t necessarily mean that Sukuna will defeat Gojo, it does suggest that having Megumi’s body gives the curse an important edge. In particular, Sukuna now has an extra Cursed Technique that could be a hard counter to the Limitless/Six Eyes combo, which is one of Gojo’s most powerful techniques. Additionally, Megumi’s body gives Sukuna an extra Domain Expansion in the form of Chimera Shadow Garden, which Yuji’s body does not have.
All of this makes it clear that Sukuna has a greater advantage over Gojo while inhabiting Megumi’s body than he did while in Yuji’s body. As Gojo prepares to face off against both Sukuna and Kenjaku at once, it’s clear that he will have his work cut out for him. But Jujutsu Kaisen fans remain hopeful that their favorite character will emerge victorious in the end.
