One of the most eagerly anticipated anime series of 2023 is Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, scheduled to premiere in July. The leaked image, originally posted by Twitter user @hizuknows (Indigo) on Monday, April 24, 2023, showcases Toji Fushiguro engaged in a conversation with Shiu Kong. Notably, Toji is depicted wearing his Cursed Spirit weapon inventory, which he obtained by taming a Cursed Spirit and converting it into a weapon inventory.
Shiu Kong is a character who contracts Toji for a specific job, a storyline that will be explored in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. The leaked screenshots offer a glimpse of both Kong and Toji, along with a depiction of Toji’s Cursed Spirit. Additionally, fans can observe different expressions on Toji’s face in the images, ranging from a happier demeanor to a scowl.
Fans were first treated to Toji’s character design for the anime back in December, during the Super Stage event at Jump Festa ’23. Alongside the character design reveal, a trailer showcasing Toji, as well as Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Ieiri Shoko, was also unveiled.
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is set to premiere on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:56 pm JST. Although it hasn’t been officially announced how the series will be streamed internationally, it is likely that Crunchyroll will continue to provide streaming services for the show, as they did for the previous season. However, until an official confirmation is made, the details remain uncertain.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will consist of two consecutive cours, spanning both the Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 anime seasons.
