Pokemon that could have exclusive Tera Forms in Scarlet and Violet DLC

The world of Pokémon is always evolving, with new creatures, moves, and mechanics added to the games with each new generation. One of the most exciting things about a new Pokémon release is the potential for new forms, which can breathe new life into old favorites and make previously underwhelming monsters into powerhouses.

Now, with the upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on the horizon, fans are eagerly speculating about which creatures might receive new Tera Forms in the expansion. Tera Forms are a new type of form that seems to be unique to the Scarlet and Violet games, and are related to the mysterious Terastal Phenomenon that played a major role in the base games.

While it’s not yet clear how many new Tera Forms will be included in the DLC, fans have already begun campaigning for their favorite Pokémon to receive the treatment. One of the most popular requests is for the game’s starter trio – Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval – to receive new Tera Forms. These Pokémon are the mascots of the game outside of the legendary Koraidon and Miraidon, and fans argue that they deserve special treatment in their home generation. After all, previous generations have given new forms to their starter Pokémon, such as Mega Evolutions for the Gen 1 and Gen 3 starters, and Gigantamax forms for the Gen 8 starters in the Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC.

Another popular choice for new Tera Forms is the starter trio from Gen 6, Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja. While these Pokémon did not receive Mega Evolutions in their original generation, fans hope that they can be redeemed in the new DLC with the addition of Tera Forms. It’s unlikely that players will be able to return to the Kalos region in the expansion, but giving the Gen 6 starters new forms would still be a nod to their legacy.

In addition to the starters, there are a few other Pokémon that fans hope will receive new Tera Forms in the DLC. One of the most popular candidates is Milotic, a beautiful and elusive creature from Gen 3 that has never received a new form in any previous generation. Fans argue that it’s high time for Milotic to get some more attention, and a Tera Form would be the perfect way to do it.

Another, more unexpected choice for a new Tera Form is Glimmora, a Pokémon from the Gen 9 games that has been somewhat overlooked due to its underwhelming stats and lackluster role in the games’ story. However, fans argue that Glimmora has the potential to be a real standout with a new Tera Form, and that it would be fitting for the game’s champion, Geeta, to receive an upgrade to the Pokémon that she Terastalizes in her champion battle.

Overall, the addition of Tera Forms to the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC has fans excited about the prospect of new forms for some of their favorite creatures. While it remains to be seen which Pokémon will receive the treatment, the community is already buzzing with speculation and hopes for what the expansion will bring. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch, and fans can’t wait to see what the future holds for their favorite monsters.
