But seasoned Japanese cosplayer willson, who frequently dresses up as Satoru Gojo, decided to do something different this time around. They depicted a different but relatable side of the beloved JJK character, showcasing an original cosplay that fans have never seen before.
It’s currently Spring in Tokyo, Japan, the same season where the world of Jujutsu Kaisen is set. In this Satoru Gojo cosplay, willson reimagines the character in a casual setting, strolling through the park under the blooming Sakura trees in a white hoodie and grey jogging pants. They have perfectly nailed down the character’s signature hair, long white eyelashes, and striking sky blue eyes. They also include Gojo’s trademark round-lens sunglasses that he wears outside of school.
What sets this cosplay apart is the way willson’s facial expressions and poses bring out the character’s cool and chill demeanor. We get a glimpse of what Gojo might be like on a day off, as he walks around the park with a cute, fluffy, stunningly white cat that also sports a pair of mini sunglasses. Willson expertly captures Gojo’s gentle and caring side as he carries the feline friend in his arms.
It’s refreshing to see a different side of Satoru Gojo in this cosplay, showing that there’s more to him than just his impressive fighting skills and stoic demeanor. With this new take on the character, fans are reminded of his relatable qualities and can’t help but be charmed by his softer side.
