Three drivers summoned for for “possibly risky” racing
While behind the Safety Car, Schumacher, Tsunoda, and Gasly will be the first to report to the stewards (17:15 local time) for allegedly violating Article 55.5 of the Sporting Regulations, which states that “no car may be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically, or in a manner that could be deemed potentially dangerous.”
Magnussen is accused of pushing Alonso off the track, and both Alonso and Magnussen will speak to the stewards shortly after (17:40 local time).
Lance Stroll would be the first driver to be penalised for on-track behaviour at the Australian Grand Prix, receiving a five-second time penalty for “more than one change of direction to protect a position.”
