Sukuna unveils Megumi’s true technique power in Jujutsu Kaisen

The latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen manga, chapter 218, showcases the true power behind Megumi Fushiguro’s technique. Megumi is a sorcerer with immense potential who inherited the Zenin Clan’s 10 Shadows, which is the strongest technique of his family. His mentor, Gojo Satoru, believes that Megumi’s cursed technique could be as powerful as his own Limitless and Six Eyes, but Megumi has only managed to tame seven of the ten Shikigami that assist his technique.

However, Sukuna, the evil King of Curses, took over Megumi’s body and tamed some of the remaining Shikigami. This means that two of the remaining three shadows are now in Sukuna’s possession, making him even more formidable. In a dramatic battle with the ancient sorcerer Yorozu, Sukuna demonstrated the power of the 10 Shadows by using two new Shikigami, the Piercing Ox and the Round Deer.

The Piercing Ox is an offensive shadow that charges with immense strength and high speed, breaking through armor and inflicting more damage the further it charges. This Shikigami is so strong that it sent Yorozu flying and broke the armor she created with her technique. The Round Deer, on the other hand, uses the Reverse Cursed Technique to heal the user and neutralize cursed energy, making it a valuable asset in high-stakes battles.

Megumi has been in countless battles where the Round Deer would have been a major asset and saved his life. For example, he was almost defeated when fighting a special grade curse in the “Death Painting” arc and had to rely on his incomplete domain to defeat the curse. The Round Deer could have restored Megumi’s health, making his domain even more powerful and further extenuating his potential. The 10 Shadows Technique has boundless potential, so much so that Sukuna took an interest in Megumi and even made an agreement with Itadori Yuji to swap vessels in the future and manipulate Fushiguro’s technique.

Overall, Chapter 218 showcases the true potential of Megumi’s technique and demonstrates why Sukuna went to such lengths to possess him.
