The 7th edition of the 100km dei Campioni took place on December 5, 2021 at Valentino Rossi’s Ranch in his birthplace of Tavullia. Rossi and his brother Luca Marini (VR46 Racing Team) won the race again, much like they did in 2019, when the competition was cancelled due to the ongoing epidemic.

Two more all-Italian pairs joined the Italian pair on the podium. Elia Bartolini (Avintia Esponsorama Moto3) and Stefano Manzi finished second and third, respectively, while Mattia Pasini and Lorenzo Baldassarri finished third. Andrea Migno (Rivacold Snipers Team) and Celestino Vietti (VR46 Racing Team) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, ahead of Marco Bezzecchi (VR46 Racing Team) and Niccolo Antonelli (VR46 Racing Team) (VR46 Racing Team).

The first non-Italian duo in sixth place was Augusto Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets – MSI), who defeated Tito Rabat and Xavier Artigas (CFMoto Racing PrüstelGP). The top ten were Albert Arenas (Aspar Team Moto2) and Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Alberto Surra (Rivacold Snipers Team), Federico Fuligni and Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing), and five-time World Champion Jorge Lorenzo.

On Saturday, there was also a shorter individual race called the Americana. Marini won this race, finishing ahead of Rossi and Vietti.
