The 10th Anniversary Project of Attack on Titan has been announced

The popular anime series “Attack on Titan” is celebrating its 10th anniversary with special events and collectibles. The anniversary project was announced at a special stage event at Anime Japan 2023, and it will begin next month with various celebrations planned throughout the year.

One of the most notable events will be a tree-planting ceremony in Hita City, Oita Prefecture, which is the hometown of the series’ creator, mangaka Hajime Isayama. This is a fitting tribute to Isayama and the inspiration he drew from his hometown for the series. Another event will be a voice actor panel at K Arena Yokohama, which is sure to excite fans of the anime.

In addition to the events, the series will also collaborate with popular character Gudetama to launch new 10th-anniversary items, including collectibles and merchandise. This is a great opportunity for fans to get their hands on some exclusive items that commemorate the milestone anniversary of the series.

“Attack on Titan” has been a massive success since its debut in 2013, with its popularity continuing to grow over the years. The series, which is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity hides from man-eating Titans in walled-off cities, follows protagonist Eren Yeager as he seeks to exterminate all Titans after they destroy his home and devour his mother before his eyes. The story is both thrilling and heart-wrenching, with many twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

The series has also garnered critical acclaim, with several accolades to its name. At this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards, “Attack on Titan” won several categories, including Best Main Character, Best Drama, Best Score, and Best Opening Sequence. However, it narrowly missed out on winning the Anime of the Year and Best Continuing Series categories.

Fans of “Attack on Titan” have a lot to look forward to, with the 10th-anniversary celebrations and new collectibles on the horizon. One of the most exciting items is a heavily detailed statue from Prime 1 Studio and Sideshow that depicts Eren, Armin, and Mikasa in the midst of battle. While the statue comes with a hefty price tag of $2,985, it’s sure to be a must-have item for die-hard fans of the series.
