The cliffhanger in Jujutsu Kaisen prepares for Gojo’s return

The latest chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga marks a significant shift in the ongoing Culling Game arc, as the series gears up towards its final climax. One of the most exciting developments is the possibility of Satoru Gojo’s comeback to the series. As readers will recall, Gojo has been missing from action for more than 1000 days, with the last time he was seen in a fight at the start of the Shibuya Incident. Since then, a lot has happened in the series, and Gojo has been trapped in the Prison Realm during both the Shibuya Incident and Culling Game arcs. It appeared that the only way to free him from this prison was by taking Sukuna out of Megumi Fushiguro’s body, which seemed impossible. However, the newest chapter has given fans hope that Gojo’s big return is on the horizon.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220 takes a break from the focus on Sukuna-controlled Megumi and shifts its attention back to Yuji Itadori and the other fighters as they recover from Sukuna’s initial attack. In this chapter, it is confirmed that Hana Kurusu and Angel have survived, and there is still a chance to open the Prison Realm. As the chapter draws to a close, Shoko Ieiri observes all the students Gojo has inspired over the years, and it becomes clear that everyone is eagerly awaiting his return. For the first time in a while, it seems that Gojo’s comeback is finally within reach.
