Tokyo Revengers S2 Ep13: Takemichi goes back in time, Kisaki joins Yokohama Tenjiku

The episode opens with a recap of the previous episode, where viewers witnessed the heartbreaking death of Mikey in Takemichi’s arms after Naoto shot him. The scene then shifts to Takemichi traveling back to 2006 to meet Chifuyu, who he tells about the deaths of his friends and Mikey’s involvement. Chifuyu jokes about punching a tire to prevent all of this from happening, which prompts Takemichi to try the same but ends up with bleeding knuckles.

Takemichi expresses his frustration at not being able to save everyone, and Chifuyu tells him that he is happy they get to meet again at least. They discuss Mikey, and Chifuyu states that he will beat the crap out of him. However, he also explains that no one has ever properly challenged Mikey as he is on a different level of strength. Takemichi sees a ray of hope and vows to never go back to the future until he is the leader of Toman.

The two head to the bathhouse to discuss their plans further. They talk about the trigger for the change in Mikey and suggest that Kisaki’s departure from Toman could act as a catalyst. They reason that in the previous timeline, Kisaki represented the darkness in Toman, and his departure could have triggered Mikey.

Meanwhile, in Yokohama, the leader of Yokohama Tenjiku, Izana Kurokawa, meets with Kisaki Tetta and Shuji Hanma. Izana asks Kisaki why he decided to join their gang, to which he replies that he wants to get his revenge. This sets up the beginning of the greatest and final conflict in Toman’s history.

The scene then shifts to Tokyo, where Yokohama Tenjiku members arrive with the goal of killing the entire Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi comes up with a plan to take down all the Yokohama gangs single-handedly, but Chifuyu laughs at the plan and refuses to accompany him to Yokohama.

Two members of Toman, Yamagishi and Makoto, then inform Chifuyu how they got beaten by guys in red high-collar uniforms, which confirms that Yokohama Tenjiku is behind the attack. Takemichi bumps into them and is horrified to see that they have an injured Akkun in their grasp. Members of Tenjiku were about to beat Takemichi as well when Chifuyu comes to his rescue, kicking one of the members in the face.

With Chifuyu holding back Tenjiku members, Takemichi runs away with Akkun on his shoulder. He beats down a few Tenjiku members before getting knocked out by Kanji Mochizuki, Yokohama Tenjiku’s Big Four. Takemichi hides with others inside a store before running out the back door. This is when Akkun tells him that around 300 Tenjiku members have arrived in Tokyo to pick a fight with Toman.
