Liden Films has released preview images and a synopsis for Tokyo Revengers season 2 episode 13, which is set to air on MBS in Japan on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 2:08 am JST. The episode is titled “When it rains, it pours,” and it will be available for streaming globally on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar, as well as on Hulu in North America.
In the previous episode, Takemichi and Naoto traveled to Manila, the Philippines, to meet with Mikey, the prime suspect in the murders of Toman members. However, things took a dark turn when Naoto ended up killing Mikey, who posed a threat to Takemichi’s life.
The upcoming episode of Tokyo Revengers season 2 is expected to pick up where the last episode left off, with Takemichi wanting to go back to the past after witnessing Mikey’s death. In an attempt to prevent the worst possible outcome from occurring, Takemichi is set to time leap to 2006, but he has no idea how to save everyone. As a result, he decides to train and become stronger by repeatedly punching a tire hanging in the park.
In the next episode, Chifuyu is set to meet Takemichi, and he may be surprised to learn that Takemichi has returned from the future. After meeting with Takemichi, Chifuyu may find out about the bleak future where every executive of Toman is killed by Mikey. Realizing the danger of the situation, Chifuyu may join forces with Takemichi to try and create a future where everyone survives.
However, in order to achieve this goal, they will need to quickly identify the problem that caused Mikey to turn evil. The biggest change in the current time loop occurred when Kisaki was fired from Toman, so there is a high probability that he will become the central figure in this time loop once again. As such, Kisaki may play a significant role in the upcoming season finale.
