The Tenjiku Arc of Tokyo Revengers has been officially announced as the plot for the upcoming third season of the popular anime. This news was confirmed on the official website, along with the release of a teaser trailer and a visual featuring the arc’s main antagonist, Izana Kurokawa. The Tenjiku arc is considered to be one of the best story arcs of the manga, exploring the events leading up to the future that protagonist Takemichi is trying to change, and introducing the formidable antagonist Tetta Kisaki. The arc also introduces the Tenjiku gang, led by Kurokawa and Kisaki, who seek revenge against the Tokyo Maji Gang (Toman), the gang in which Takemichi resides.
The previous season of Tokyo Revengers ended with the conclusion of the Black Dragon arc, which set the stage for the Tenjiku arc. With the adaptation of this arc, more than half of the Tokyo Revengers story will be animated, leaving only the Bonten arc and the final arc. The final arc is made up of the Three Deities arc and the Kanto Manji arc, in which Takemichi forms his own gang to take on Mikey and end the cycle of multiversal suffering.
