After negotiating on a two-year contract with the Japanese manufacturer to compete for LCR, Alex Rins will enter Honda in MotoGP for the upcoming season.
The stunning choice by Suzuki to leave MotoGP at the conclusion of the 2022 season placed the Spaniard onto the riding market.
The three-time MotoGP champion had conversations with a number of organisations, notably Gresini Ducati and KTM, but decided to sign a two-year contract with Honda and join LCR instead.
It was a long-rumored transfer that wasn’t formally verified until this week.
