NASCAR was compelled to postpone qualifying for the Xfinity and Truck Series at Atlanta on Friday due to persistent rain throughout the day.

According to the rules, Sammy Smith will begin on pole for the NXS race, with John-Hunter Nemechek following. Dawson Cram in the No. 74 Mike Harmon Racing Chevrolet will not compete in the race.

On the Truck side, Ty Majeski will follow Zane Smith, the defending series champion, to the starting line. No racers failed to reach the field.

Saturday’s Truck race will start at 2 p.m. EST after Cup Series qualifying at 11:35 a.m. The Xfinity race is scheduled for 5 p.m. EST.
