The drivers will face a new challenge when Formula One visits Saudi Arabia and the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the first time.
The new Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which was built in record speed, will host Saudi Arabia’s first-ever Grand Prix this weekend.
With a length of 6.174km and 27 corners, the bulk of which are fast sweepers, drivers are expected to hit speeds of up to 250km/h as they speed along the Red Sea coast.
F1 has provided a first real-life look at the track in the shape of an onboard lap with the Aston Martin Safety Car ahead of FP1 at 16:30 local time (13:30 UK time), which starts at 16:30 local time (13:30 UK time).
