Christian Horner of Red Bull couldn’t sit still as he watched Max Verstappen battle it out for the lead against Lewis Hamilton on the last lap of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Christian Horner has posted a video of his reaction to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix’s final lap as the drama unfolded.
Horner, sitting on the pit wall, was a sight of anxiety as he watched Max Verstappen attempt to pass Lewis Hamilton.
Verstappen had to hold off Hamilton down the two back straights after diving into the hairpin to keep the lead and capture the title – the only lap of the race that Verstappen really led.
Horner posted the video on his Instagram account with the caption: “This is what the sport is all about… racing. We are a team of racers who came to race and we live for these moments.”
