At Misano a few weeks ago, Nyck de Vries marked his racetrack debut with AlphaTauri. A drivers’ perspective and pedal cam video of the shakedown have been made publicly available by the squad.
Nyck de Vries made his squad’s debut on the track a few weeks ago in their 2023 Formula 1 challenger, according to video published by AlphaTauri.
The Dutchman made his track debut at the Misano World Circuit in Italy, and video from the event showed the shakedown laps in the AT04 from both the “Drivers Eye” and the “Pedal Cam” perspectives.
In contrast to the past, when Drivers Eye was only accessible to drivers who wore Bell Helmets, it will now be made available to all competitors starting in 2023.
The microcamera system, which enables TV viewers to see the distinctive perspective of the drivers via their visors, was made available to all helmet makers under a contract that RacingForce and F1 revealed.
