Ahead of the highly anticipated Friends reunion special, the cast of the iconic sitcom has pondered what their characters would be doing in the present day.
The main members of the cast gave their opinions on their characters’ trajectories after the sitcom finale in an interview with People magazine ahead of the special.
Joey would operate a network of sandwich restaurants, according to Matt LeBlanc (“and eaten all of the sandwiches”), while Rachel would have her own clothing brand, according to Jennifer Aniston.
Chandler would make a “great father” as well as a “fantastic comic writer,” according to Matthew Perry.
“I always just feel like Monica would be doing something competitively with other mothers and trying to outdo them,” said Courteney Cox. “Whether it’s the bake sale at school or something. I mean, she’d be so annoying. She’d be at the head of the PTA or something.”
Phoebe “lives in Connecticut with Mike and their children, and she’s in head of the school’s arts department,” according to Lisa Kudrow. And basically… her children’s advocate because they’re different from her.”
Ross “would’ve invested in Joey’s sandwich shop and lost a lot of his savings for his kids,” according to David Schwimmer.
