The latest patch for the popular game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has finally arrived, and it comes bearing great news for players who have been plagued with a particularly frustrating bug. The bug had been causing players who had not updated to the newest version of the game to experience a soft-lock when participating in the Tera Raid event, Iron Leaves and Walking Wake. Those players who participated without updating to the newest version of the game would end up with a Bad Egg in their inventory, which would lock them out from catching the new Paradox Pokémon.
However, with the release of Scarlet and Violet Ver. 1.3.0, the developers have resolved the issue, meaning anyone who caught a Bad Egg will now be able to catch Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. This is great news for those players who have been patiently waiting for a solution to this bug, as they can now catch up on the new content without having to worry about being locked out.
In addition to the Tera Raid issue, the new patch has also resolved a bug that caused the game to crash when players tried to pair it with their Pokémon Go account. This could potentially mean that the bug that had caused many players to lose their save files on their Nintendo Switch has been fixed as well, although Nintendo had already been working with affected players to get their saves back.
While the patch does not include any significant performance adjustments, it does fix a number of smaller bugs, such as an issue with Zoroark’s Illusion ability not working properly with mechanics when Terastallized. Overall, the patch brings a much-needed fix to a major issue, and players can now enjoy the game without having to worry about being locked out of content or losing their save files.
