William Byron born(on NOV 29, 1997) is in his fifth season as driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. Byron has four career victories, with the latest coming at Martinsville Speedway in April 2022.
Byron got his first-ever taste of NASCAR Cup Series Victory Lane by winning Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway in August 2020. He earned Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2018. Byron scored four wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as a rookie in 2017 en route to the series championship, and his seven wins in the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series in 2016 set a NASCAR record by a first-year driver. He added a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory in April 2022 at Martinsville Speedway.
